Managing Partner
Steven P. Nassi is the Founder and Managing Partner of My Job Lawyer, bringing nearly 25 years of legal experience and an unwavering commitment to fighting for those who’ve been wronged. A seasoned litigator, Steven has successfully led complex cases in both state and federal courts across industries such as consumer protection, insurance, construction, cybersecurity, and finance.
While his legal expertise is vast, Steven’s mission is simple: protect workers who are mistreated, overlooked, or denied justice. His shift from broader litigation to employment law was driven by a desire to make a deeper, more personal impact. He founded My Job Lawyer to give everyday people a powerful voice in the legal system, especially those who’ve been silenced or ignored in the workplace.
Steven draws on decades of courtroom experience and negotiation skill to advocate for clients facing wrongful termination, discrimination, wage theft, retaliation, and other labor violations. He believes every worker deserves strong, strategic representation, and that no one should face legal battles alone.
With a reputation for clarity, precision, and compassion, Steven leads My Job Lawyer with one clear goal: to level the playing field for workers across the country and deliver justice where it’s due.
Steven received his bachelor’s degree from SUNY Binghamton, with distinction, in 2000.
He attended Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he graduated in 2003. During law school, Steve served as a Supervising Editor of the Cardozo Law Review (2002 – 2003). And, as a member of the Innocence Project, Steven helped exonerate an individual convicted in 1987 based upon DNA evidence.
